In addition, some home loans require a Wood Destroying Insect inspection, so check with your realtor to determine if you need an inspection.
The Wood Destroying Insect Inspection is completed by a certified contractor and will be faxed to you or your agent once the report is completed. The report package is then mailed to you with a termite warranty from the contractor. Should termites be discovered during the warranty period, the inspecting contractor will provide a treatment at no additional cost to you. At a low cost this warranty can be extended and is also renewable and transferable.
